Haven't seen the matches so I won't update the results in the very near future (meaning today). Team Incredible Miracle 5-4 Team Startale Prize money 1st place: 10,000,000 KRW 2nd place: 5,000,000 KRW Schedule Round of 8 Date In the Finals, the first Team to get 5 wins, wins the Tournament. In the Round of 8 and Semifinals, the first Team to get 4 wins, wins the round. When a player loses, the next player from the team takes his place and selects the map. A player will stay in play until he gets defeated. Each team selects 8 players and chooses the order of their players to compete. Ideas, opinions, pros, cons, arguments, discussions, debates, thoughts, all these are welcome here. I am posting this early, the matches will only start next week, but as it is a new format we may as well start talking and giving our ideas about it? Are you excited about it? Do you feel this format brings new excitement to the matches or less? Do you feel this is just a small thingy until the next "proper" season? Well, I guess that is all I have to say about it. This is my opinion, but, like I said, if you have a different take on the subject please lay your idea. However, everyone can comment and talk about the match without reservations. So, it will always have a delay of 1 to 2 days. The results won't be updated as soon as the matches end, because I don't have the chance to watch them live. It's my intention to maintain this thread throughout the season with updates on schedules and results. This is my opinion and I would like to know if you guys agree with it or if you, in fact, prefer having multiple threads.
I though that one global thread would be much better than having one for the Ro32 then one only for group F of Ro32 then one for group H of Ro32 and so on. There were a lot of threads and the discussions were very dispersed. So, after the last GSL Season, I thought the threads here were a bit all over the place. Starcraft II is awesome, right? Yeah, I know. This and SC1 are probably one of the "great" games in the pantheon of game history - it was genuinely something new when it first came out.Hey, How are you all doing? Fine? I hope so. And the careful balancing means you will be playing people of your own ability - or you can play the single player campaign which is not an after thought but genuinely entertaining.ĭefinitely try it you like this sort of thing. Honestly this is a really great game that rewards your skill and ability if you are prepared to put everything on hold but is still great for novices who just want to enjoy the great game play or the nostalgia like me.
Unless of course playing computer games is your job which is not as uncommon as you might thing for SC2 with a big Korean/US and European gaming community. I say fun at first because the men with day jobs die as is appropriate as they have jobs to go to in the morning. I say men from boys because it is the boys who win hands down at this. Unlike Command and Conquer (C&C) where you don't have such tight unit control and the buildings tend to be tougher SC2 is all about micro control of units.įun at first this is meant to differentiate the men from the boys in allowing it not simply to be a resource game i.e. You build buildings, produce units and attack the other team.
I played the original when I was young and loved it.
